Recent news stemming from Japan likely contributed to a four or five percent drop in bitcoin’s price during the early morning hours, though it appears the currency has recovered. Japanese regulators have issued an official warning to executives of Binance, one of the largest and most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in operation.
