Vancouver Bitcoin reserve effort hits resistance from city bureaucrats

Vancouver city staff say Bitcoin is not permitted under the Vancouver Charter and recommend closing Mayor Ken Sim’s 2024 reserve proposal ahead of a March 10 council vote.
